I've seen very evidently that Jesus is "better" than everything else in my life. it's amazing to me how when you make the decisions to trust him, you see even the bad things as good. I've seen him use a really hard thing that im going through for the better! Some may disagree...but i believe that its almost impossible to see how God is working if you are pessimistic all the time.. idk. i know that when i am in a pessimistic mindset i miss out on some really majorly cool stuff that God is trying to show me. He is honestly the only "better" thing out there! ~Jae <3 Cie
“How has Jesus been better in my life recently?” The way the question is stated gave me a little trouble at first. Mostly because asking how “In what way has Jesus been "better" in your life lately?” infers that has been some sort of positive change in my relationship with Jesus. And unfortunately I can’t really say there has been much change in my spiritual life of late. I am on a spiritual plane, if you will. I guess I have been learning more form our study of Hebrews about the role Jesus plays in our salvation. I definitely know that God is playing a role in my life as far as guiding me, but I can’t say that rightly say that anything has pointed to the superiority of Jesus over other things like mentioned in Hebrews.
Jesus has revealed his love toward humanity more compleatly to me recently. He has helped me understand the full cost of his sacrifice and how the sins of the world killed him.
In what way has Jesus been “better” in my life recently? This question took me along time to answer, because I have been feeling like I am just now really starting to see Jesus at a personal level. And I am not really sure how Jesus has been better. But I would have to day that Jesus has really been “better” in my life by reveling Himself to me. - J Navonod
This isn’t the easiest question to answer. I’ve been thinking and I can see Jesus being better in others lives around me, but I a little lost to what’s really going on in my life. I know He is working and have faith that He is helping me. I guess I just can’t really see it. I believe He is better because at least my life hasn’t become too crazy. And He’s been helping my keep up with the fast pace of senior life. I guess that’s how he is better in my life. -ROB
I guess God has become better in my life by me just knowing him better. By him reveling himself little by little to me. He has begun to teach me how to trust in Him. And to show me that he has been through the same things as I have. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding" (Proverbs 3: 5)
At first like everyone else, i had a difficult time answering this question. But then i started thinking how can God be better than He was before? He's always better. When I'm happy its because of him. When I'm sad, He helps me get through it. God loves me and he is always there for me. Better makes Him sound as if we're settling for less, it makes Him sound as if He doesn't try to make our life better. He wants to make it the best. He is the BEST!
In what way has Jesus been better in my life lately? This is a confusing question but whenever I see Jesus through others around me or when I learn more about him through the bible, I see that he is always "better" in a way. His faith in his Father, his strength against sin, and his love and care for EVERYONE are all examples of how he is better. Lately, i have seen Jesus better through others. After the Auburn fire, i saw people coming together and helping one another. Christian organizations donated supplies and helped clean up for the people that lost their homes. This shows how Jesus can work through others to show that he is "better" -Kodi-
Jesus is better than anything and everything that we can imagine. There is nothing better than Jesus. Jesus has been "better" in my life lately at helping me understand the bible. The bible has been very hard for me to understand at times and i believe that lately Jesus has been better at showing me what the bible has to say.
Jesus has been better in my life in ways that I have come to understand and realize that He is always there and always has been. He has also been better in my life as being there for me personally. This is not recent but about 5 years ago my Grandpa passed away due to Alzheimer disease and I felt that God helped me through the struggle of his passing.
In every way He is BETTER than me. Jesus is perfect and i am not. Jesus is sinless and i am full of sin. When i stray away from Him, He will NEVER leave me. When i decide to be unfaithful to Him, His faith never fails me. When im down to nothing, He is always up to something. The very fact that i have life today by God's grace alone proves that in all things and in all ways He is better than me. ~Mz NaShViLlE
Jesus is always and continues to be better in my life. i think that God is always working in all of our lives, its just a matter of opening our eyes to whats taking place around us. But one way in which Christ has been "better" in my life lately is the way he's opened my eyes and allowed me to see many of the wonders and hard-to-catch messages in the Bible. The Bible is not the easiest thing to understand and at times it becomes extremely confusing but i thank God for the way he's revealed to me certain wonders through different people, testimonies, and stories in the Bible! I know that he is truly active in my life! JGirl
A big way that Jesus has been better in my life is how he continues to help me heal and the incredible gift he has given to us in this way. When something goes wrong with your body, you are suddenly more aware of how much you depend on it. This last week my leg has been doing a lot better. But over the weekend it was hurting and extremely swollen. I even went to the ER to make sure it wasn't serious. But God helped heal it since then, even before I asked. God's great care and mercy toward me with my injury has helped me grow closer to him. I must, or I'd just sit at home and cry because of the pain. That's how God has been better in my life. ~BRoAD valleY
